New Topic in Y3!

Hi Year 3,

I hope you have all had a lovely Easter.

When you return to school after the holidays we will be starting a new topic. We are going to be learning all about the using maps and the different features. Also, we will be looking closely at our local area, Wigan, and comparing Wigan to two other places.

We have got lots of fun activities planned to help you learn more about maps and the history of our local area.

I would like to know what you already know about using maps and the different features of maps. Also, do you know anything about the history of Wigan?

I look forward to reading your comments Y3!
